Jean Killmer

A glimpse into the vibrant creations
of a 96-year-old artist

Jean Killmer, 96, agrees with turn-of-the-century artist George Braque that “with age, Art and Life become one.” She only began painting ten years ago, each piece reflecting a lifetime of stories and devotion. Married for 62 years, with two sons and a daughter, this diehard south Jerseyan is spending her retirement years painting what she sees with childlike simplicity and self-loyalty.
